Jaguar offers a variety of Voice Services ranging from individual analog lines, T1, PRI, and SIP Trunking to our Advanced Hosted Voice Solutions. We deliver HD voice connections tailored to meet your specific business needs and unique requirements. Reliable, flexible, and scalable, Jaguar can customize line packages, unlimited local calling plans, additional long distance packages, and many popular business calling and voice mail features.

Offering clear, high-quality calling, Jaguar Communications provides a wide range of phone services including individual analog lines, PRIs, SIP Trunks, and T1s.

Individual Analog Lines

Jaguar provides two different individual analog lines. The first is a business line with features, and the second is a basic business line that you can use for fax machines, alarm lines, and credit card machines.

A PRI is a single line with 23 voice channels (and a single data/control channel), this allows your business to hold 23 calls simultaneously. This is not always equivalent to the number of phone numbers a business has. Your business may have 100 phone numbers that are directed to come across a single PRI, however, you will only be allowed to hold 23 phone conversations at once.

SIP Trunking is a method of sending your voice connection over an existing data line, and therefore is commonly referred to as VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol). SIP Trunking is nothing more than the virtual connection between your PBX and your carriers SIP Network, over the already existing Physical Data Line.

A T1 line is a dedicated transmission connection between a service provider and client can be either fiber or copper. It uses an advanced telephone line to carry more data than a traditional standard analog line.

If your office has a T1 line, it means that the phone company has brought a fiber optic line into your office (a T1 line might also come in on copper). A T1 line can carry 24 digitized voice channels, or it can carry data at a rate of 1.544 megabits per second.

How would your business be affected if your communication assets failed? Without a recovery plan in place, even a routine issue could result in loss of revenue. A more severe outage might render your business out of commission completely. According to a study by the Hartford Financial Services Group, 43% of businesses that experience a disaster and have no emergency plan never reopen. Of those that do reopen, only 29% exceed two years. Simply put, you must have a Business Continuity plan.

Your phone system presents a Business Continuity challenge. Many businesses house their phone systems at their premises through a Private Branch Exchange (PBX). A weakness with this approach is that a localized event (power outage, connection cut, weather event, etc.) can render the PBX incapacitated as all calls to or from the business must pass through it.

Hosted PBX from Jaguar Communications helps you plan Business Continuity more effectively. With Hosted PBX, all call processing and intelligence reside in the Jaguar network, not on your business site. In the event of a localized outage, Hosted PBX continues to operate and process calls.

In an outage, the failure is instantly recognized by the Hosted PBX platform and calls are re-routed immediately to alternate numbers or to a separate facility. A web portal (seen right) allows individual DIDs to be controlled for contingency plan routing.

Implementing a Business Continuity solution requires proper design and equipment selection to ensure maximum benefit. In addition to Hosted PBX, Jaguar offers a full range of consulting and design services and products maximize your protection against the unexpected.

Jaguar Communications Auto Call Distribution (ACD) draws many of its capabilities from Hosted PBX features such as hunt groups, auto attendant, and music-on-hold. These core functions provide queueing functions through both Easy Attendant and Premium Auto Attendant. Routing algorithms include longest idle time or round-robin. Music-on-hold enables music or announcements to be played while customers are waiting. All of these capabilities can be configured through an easy-to-use web portal.

Agent-level features provide helpful information about the caller and allow agents to monitor performance against KPIs and set what “state” they are in. Supervisors and administrators have a number of powerful features that enable them to coach agents and assist in calls. The supervisor dashboard allows administration of call queues and performance. Detailed standardized or ad-hoc report generation is available to track trends over time.
